Needs stand mounts, but the clips work good also. Just know that if you use the clips, vibrations through the drums vibrate the mics. Rim shots need eqing because of the vibrations (gives a nasty clunk sound), cut off low frequencies below 250hz and youll be good to go (you may have to use automation for drummer! s who switch between rim shots and snare hits).
